What Our Clients Say

A selection of feedback from people at different stages of retirement readiness.

SR

Siriporn Rattanachai

Teacher, Bangkok — May 2025

"I had attended two other information evenings about retirement before coming to Tenura's workshop. Those were helpful in parts, but I always left with more questions than I arrived with. This was the first session where I came away understanding what the Social Security Fund actually means for me, and knowing where to go to check my own contribution history."

KP

Kirati Phantawee

Logistics coordinator, Nonthaburi — May 2025

"The Records Organisation Package was genuinely useful. I had documents from three different employers going back to my early twenties, some of it overseas, and no sense of what was important to keep or where to find what I was missing. The consultant was patient and the system they helped me set up is something I can actually maintain. It did take a bit longer than I expected — the session ran nearly three hours — but that was probably because I had so much to sort through."

TN

Thanom Naksutthi

HR Manager, Bangkok — June 2025

"We introduced the Employer Toolkit as part of our employee wellbeing calendar last quarter. The rollout guide was very clear — I was able to run the first session myself without needing to involve Tenura directly. Staff feedback was overwhelmingly positive, particularly from employees in their late forties who said they had been meaning to look into this for years but never had a structured opportunity."

WC

Wanlaya Chanthawong

Self-employed, Sukhumvit — June 2025

"As someone self-employed, I had very little idea what, if anything, I was entitled to at retirement. The workshop covered voluntary SSF membership in a way that actually made sense to me. The facilitator was also very clear about what they were not there to do — they did not try to push me in any direction, which I appreciated. I felt informed, not sold to."

PS

Prapassorn Suksomboon

Retired civil servant, Bangkok — May 2025

"I used the records package mainly because my husband and I had accumulated decades of paperwork and had no system for it. The process of going through it with someone from Tenura helped us identify two missing provident fund statements we did not know we needed. The session was professional and our documents felt like ours again afterwards, properly organised and labelled."

AN

Anucha Nakprasert

Finance sector, Bangkok — June 2025

"I work in finance and still found the workshop useful — not because the content was new to me in every respect, but because the glossary and resource map helped me see where my own knowledge had gaps, particularly around the Government Pension Fund rules for former civil servants. Good value for two and a half hours of focused, structured information."

Case Studies

Three situations where Tenura services helped people make meaningful progress with retirement readiness.

Challenge

Mid-career professional, no understanding of SSF entitlements

A 44-year-old marketing manager had contributed to the Social Security Fund for fifteen years but had no idea what payout she might be entitled to, at what age, or how to check her contribution history. She had put off looking into it because the official website felt inaccessible.

Solution

Orientation Workshop

She attended the Orientation Workshop, where the facilitator walked through SSF payout ages, contribution period requirements, and the process for accessing contribution records via the SSO portal. She left with a reference sheet and the glossary.

Outcome

Clear next steps within two weeks

Within two weeks she had located her contribution record online and booked an appointment with a fee-only financial adviser to discuss her overall retirement position. She had a specific, informed question to bring to that appointment — something she said would not have been possible before the workshop.

"I spent fifteen minutes doing something I had put off for years. That was what the session unlocked for me."

Challenge

Household with thirty years of unsorted documents

A couple in their early sixties had employment documents, provident fund statements, and tax records going back to the early 1990s in folders, envelopes, and boxes with no clear system. They had an adviser appointment scheduled but did not know what to bring.

Solution

Records Organisation Package

The consultant spent three sessions working through their combined documents, sorting by category, identifying duplicates, flagging gaps, and creating a labelled filing system they could maintain going forward. A document checklist was completed for each person.

Outcome

Adviser meeting significantly more productive

The couple attended their adviser appointment with a clear folder of relevant documents and a checklist of what was still missing. Their adviser commented that the preparation was unusually thorough, and the meeting focused on decisions rather than administration.

"We found things we had completely forgotten about. It changed the whole conversation with our adviser."

Challenge

Bangkok employer wanting to support older staff

An HR team at a Bangkok manufacturing company had identified that around 30% of their workforce was aged 50 or over, and several had raised concerns about retirement at the annual survey. HR wanted to offer something structured without giving advice or exposing the company to liability.

Solution

Employer Information Toolkit

The HR team received the full toolkit and ran a brief call with Tenura to walk through the materials. They scheduled three sessions over one month, running one per shift to reach all relevant staff. The rollout guide covered scheduling, facilitation notes, and a post-session Q&A sheet.

Outcome

78 staff reached, positive survey response

78 employees attended the three sessions. Post-session survey results showed 91% rated the information as "useful" or "very useful," and the retirement-related survey responses the following quarter were substantially more positive. The HR team reported no questions that crossed into advice territory during the sessions.

"The materials held up under real conditions. The rollout was much smoother than I expected."
